Finding one's purpose in life can be a challenging task. However, it is an essential step towards living a fulfilling and meaningful life. Your purpose should align with your values, passions, and strengths. Take the my purpose in life quiz. Suggestions:

1.    Identify your values: Your values are the principles or beliefs that guide your behavior and decision-making. Identifying your values is an essential step towards finding your purpose. To do this, write down a list of values that you consider important. Examples of values include honesty, kindness, loyalty, creativity, and spirituality. Once you have identified your values, reflect on how you can live your life in alignment with them.

Examples of strengths include problem-solving, leadership, creativity, and empathy. Once you have identified your strengths, reflect on how you can use them to make a positive impact on the world.

4.    Identify your unique talents: Your unique talents are the skills that set you apart from others. To find your unique talents, reflect on the things that people often compliment you on, whether it's your writing, public speaking, or artistic abilities. Once you have identified your unique talents, consider how you can use them to make a difference in the world.

5.    Consider your impact: Your purpose should align with making a positive impact on the world. To do this, reflect on the ways in which you can use your values, passions, strengths, and unique talents to make a difference. Consider how you can contribute to your community, society, or the world at large.

Examples:

1.    A person who values creativity, has a passion for music, and excels at writing may find their purpose in life by writing and producing music that inspires and uplifts others.

2.    A person who values kindness, has a passion for volunteering, and excels at public speaking may find their purpose in life by using their public speaking skills to raise awareness about social issues and inspire others to take action.

3.    A person who values spirituality, has a passion for teaching, and excels at problem-solving may find their purpose in life by teaching mindfulness and meditation to others, helping them find inner peace and clarity.

4.    There is a test you can take called, the Carl Jung typology test that uncovers various archetypes in which you can find your personality type that helps people decide on what career choice or purpose they have in life. In conclusion, finding your purpose in life is a process that requires self-reflection and exploration. By identifying your values, passions, strengths, unique talents, and considering your impact, you can find a sense of direction and purpose in life. Remember that your purpose may evolve over time, and it's okay to revisit and adjust it as you grow and change.

These questions are designed to guide you to your purpose in life. Whatever you said for question 1-4 and it helps humanity, therein could be your purpose in life. However, questions 1 - 8 are a way to focus on what your purpose is too. If you answer yes to at least 3 questions 9-14, you are ready to move forward with your purpose in life.

In very simple terms, whatever you love doing, that will in some way help humanity, therein lies your purpose in life. The key is to take baby steps to get you started.

For example, I love writing, so I used my writing to help humanity with my online courses, my books and retreats. I take a great deal of pleasure out of helping others and find it rewarding to help people find their own purpose.

Here are 10 potential purposeful pursuits someone could devote themselves to in life:

  1. Writing - Using writing to inspire, educate, entertain or impact readers. Sharing stories that change perspectives.

  2. Art - Expressing creativity through mediums like painting, pottery, photography, etc. Using art for meaningful self-expression and sharing that art in galleries or online or other areas.

  3. Teaching - Educating and empowering the next generation. Guiding students to reach their potential.

  4. Volunteer Work - Donating time and energy to serve causes in need like homelessness, animals, or environmentalism.

  5. Spiritual Practice - Seeking truth and inner wisdom. Living devotedly through yoga, meditation, or religious faith and perhaps sharing that with others as a yoga instructor, or meditation expert.

  6. Entrepreneurship - Starting a purpose-driven business to enact positive change through capitalism.

  7. Activism - Advocating politically and socially for important issues like human rights, healthcare, economic policy.

  8. Mentorship - Using experience and knowledge to guide those less advanced in their career or personal development.

  9. Music - Harnessing the connective power of music composition, performance or therapy.

  10. Science & Research - Furthering human understanding through discipline and discovery. Pushing knowledge forward.

  11. Coaching little league or becoming a big brother for a fatherless child.

  12. Creating a website that invokes peace in the world.
