It was eye opening to learn more about the subconscious mind and its influence on what we believe about ourselves. Even more amazing was to learn that we can replace negative subconscious thoughts with positive ones. The whole concept of the Inner Child was also intriguing. This book was an excellent read-- especially to start off the new year. Very solid advice and right in line with the philosophy of positive thinking, law of attraction, metaphysics, spirituality-- and fate. Past experiences are lessons in life and future ones are on how we perceive ourselves with love in the now-- healthy love of oneself is essential in order to attract the healthy love of a partner. Rachel spells out in concise clear chapters the things to avoid in dating, setting boundaries, working on self, defining wants and the benefits of expressing gratitude and affirmations verbally , mentally or in writing. The author offers her personal examples as well as real experiences of others, with a moral for each story. A very useful guide to those in or entering the complexities of the dating world and highly recommended. Ellen

I am a 52 year old married male and never thought a book on dating would interest me but was SHOCKED at how informative and real it was. Experiences that i had and failed all made sense from lessons in the book. I would advise that all parents themselves read the book and supply it to your children. There are at least 10 different tools that you can pick up that will help you in relationships concerning many issues such as security, emotions, depression, and how to shield yourself from being used. It gives you the answers to everything that you would need to have a happy and healthy relationship. I am impressed and learned that the author has an additional spiritual book called The Third Road, just bought it and hope it will help me as much as the dating book. Stacy

I loved curling up to this book. Reading this author was like having your Guardian Angel whisper loving, and encouraging promptings in your ear reminding you of God's love for you. Very valuable lessons can be learned and applied to one's search for a soul mate. This is a must read for anyone disgruntled with the quest for finding love. I recommend this book highly. I did not want it to end. It was much too short. You will want to read it again and again. Roseanna

This book is a very practical guide for anyone navigating the stormy seas of dating. The author generously shares her experiences which help me understand that much of what I am feeling is very universal. I am able to look at myself more clearly and ask questions such as - why do I keep attracting the same unavailable person. In her gentle way, Rachel Devine shows the reader that feeling comfortable with who we are is essential before any meaningful relationship with a person of the opposite sex can unfold.

Thank you so much.  It was helpful to read your info.  I have read pet loss books after losing other dogs in the past but one thing that stood out to me with your course was the inner child and the sense of safety and security we get from our fur babies. 

I also like the thought of writing a letter to our pets and releasing them to God.  I too believe they are always with us but it still hurts to much because we miss them terribly and life never seems the same after they’re gone.  I have faith in my heart they are with God and we will be reunited with them some day so I try to remind myself that.  

Sorry for the loss of your Luke.  What a beautiful way to honor him…by helping others.  🐾🌈💕
